Commercial Water Damage – Knoxville Office Building

Commercial water damage struck this Knoxville office building when a pipe joint that was embedded within the wall broke. We located a plumber to come in and repair the broken pipe joint and then we began the water cleanup phase of the job. We could readily see that the drywall needed to be torn out and replaced. In addition, our moisture detection meters alerted us to the fact that the subflooring had absorbed a significant amount of water which required us to pull up the carpeting and padding and dispose of them properly. We brought in commercial air movers and dehumidifiers to aid in the drying phase of the project. Once dry we treated all affected surfaces with an antimicrobial substance to inhibit any future mold growth.
